We sat down with Chandan, one of our dedicated trainers working closely with one of our clients, to understand how he nurtures confidence and consistency in field promoters across regions. Here’s a glimpse into our conversation.
Q: How long have you been training field promoters?
Chandan: “More than 3 years now, and every batch teaches me something new too!”
Q: How can we ensure promoters continue to perform well after their initial training. What methods help most?
Chandan: “Roleplays are the most effective. They give promoters a chance to practice real-life customer interactions in a safe space.”
Q: How do you track their progress?
Chandan: “Through regular field visits and by monitoring their daily activity on the portal. I provide guidance instantly if I notice gaps.”
Q: How do you keep them motivated when things don’t go well?
Chandan: “I remind them of their strengths, show them how far they’ve come, and make sure they know I’m with them on this journey.”
Q: Can you tell us about a trainee who showed significant transformation during the program?
Chandan: “Yes, Anita showed remarkable transformation. She started off shy and unsure but gradually became one of the most confident and active participants. With consistent support and tailored training, she built strong communication skills and began leading group activities with ease.”
Q: What made Anita stand out?
Chandan: “Her openness to learning and positive attitude, combined with consistent mentoring. She’s grown steadily for four years—now she’s an inspiration to others.”
Chandan is a powerful example of how empathetic leadership drives lasting impact on the ground.
