Hybrid work sounded simple:

Work from home for peace.

Go to office for productivity.

Reality had other plans.

At Home:

“Since you’re free, can you do one small thing?”

Doorbells ringing exactly during important meetings.

WiFi disconnecting right after:

“Let me share my screen…”

Family members entering the room the moment the camera turns on.

At Office:

“Quick 15-minute meeting.”

Which somehow needs:

A calendar invite.

An agenda.

And emotional preparation.

“Quick coffee?”

“Quick discussion?”

And suddenly the whole day disappears.

Hybrid work is basically being distracted professionally in two different locations.

Where are you actually more productive? Home or Office?
