Munaf Patel’s Interview

For over 5 years and 7 months, a trainer at RuralShores Skills Academy has been quietly transforming lives, one learner at a time. Meet Munaf Patel, a BPO Trainer who turns hesitation into confidence, silence into expression, and potential into real opportunities.

1. What is the one shift in your training approach that turns hesitation into confidence?

I help learners move beyond the fear of getting things wrong by encouraging them to take small, consistent attempts. By using real-life situations and supportive feedback, they begin to see errors as part of progress rather than something to avoid.

2. When do you realise a student is truly transforming, not just learning?

The shift becomes visible when individuals start acting on their own, sharing ideas, engaging in discussions, and managing tasks without guidance. That independence signals real growth.

3. What mindset change do you focus on that impacts a student’s life beyond the classroom?

I encourage a shift from self-doubt to problem-solving, believing that challenges can be worked through. This builds inner strength and helps them stay steady in different situations.

4. What truly makes your students job-ready, skills, confidence, or something deeper?

It comes down to how they respond to change, their openness, consistency, and ability to stay constructive even in unfamiliar situations. That is what sustains long-term progress.

5. Can you share one impact you’ve made that stayed with you?

A learner who once avoided speaking even in small groups gradually became comfortable expressing themselves. Over time, they handled interactions smoothly and secured a role in a BPO. Watching that journey unfold was deeply meaningful.
